Been having a difficult time getting back in my groove. Well, I say that. (Obviously I haven’t been posting or updating as much though)
So, I graduated last Friday, and I let myself become under-disciplined. I ate cake (not too much), and I ate quite a bit of dips. Also, I didn’t do an “actual” workout since Wednesday, if I remember correctly, through Monday. Of course, that’s not a TERRIBLE break to take, especially for graduation, but the getting back on track hasn’t been easy.
That Monday I ran and logged it, and I worked out a little Tuesday morning, accompanied by a chocolate truffle on Galveston Island :-/ and some probably a 2 miles walk on the beach. Wednesday, of all days National Running Day, I planned on running at 6 ALL day with my boyfriend, and we got RAINED OUT! We ran maybe .7 miles.
And today, was not the most successful, but was productive. Went for a run this morning, and I tried to make it a HIIT, increasing my speed a little. My stomach became upset, and I had to take it kind of easy. But I made 2 miles at least. This evening I did the HIIT on the treadmill for about 30 min and walked for another 8ish. Made another 3 miles. So that’s good, right? I’ve been eating well though! ++
My stomach is still trying to challenge me :( I gotta keep up my habits though.
Did about 20 min of Cardio Kickboxing today. Couldn’t get my shuffle right so it wasn’t very enjoyable. But it worked and got me sweating! I have a beach day to day, so there will be plenty of walking and sweating there too!
